From the moment this amazing energetic, charismatic 9 piece dance band started up with their first tune, the crowd hit the dance floor and kept their feet moving the entire night!
This extremely talented 9 piece ensemble known as Halifax's premier dance band most definitely live up to their name!
Talent simply radiates through the Mellotones, from the lead singer Jeffrey Mosher and his amazing saxophone to their four piece horn section, guitars, bass, keys & percussion, the Mellotones have it all!
Along with Jeffrey Mosher this high energy dance band include Ian Mosher, Jody Lyne, Bad Conrad,.Mike Farrington, Lil Thomas, Eric Laundry, Damien Moynihan and Rob Crowell, all extremely seasoned musicians
from various groups including Matt Mays, and Garrett Mason, etc.

The night was fabulous, Montes had a full house long before the band even arrived! I could definitely see why this amazing ensemble has such a huge following, they are, simply put AMAZING!
The Mellotones cover all genres of music, something for everyone, from jazz, dance, rock, blues and more!
As the night rolled on, everyone in the club were having a blast! ..dancing & singing, there seemed to be magic in the air that night! The Mellotones definitely know how to put on an amazing musical showcase!
Guests such as Dutch Robinson and Pat Riley joined in the fun and treated the grateful crowd to a few fantastic tunes!
The Mellotones rocked it into the wee hours, time just flew by, such a terrific time was had by all!
