♪♪♪ Brendan "Fire Fingers" Gallagher ♪♪♪

Today I would like to introduce you to a 16 year old phenom guitarist and my friend
Brendan "Fire Fingers" Gallagher

 I had the opportunity to meet Brendan a couple years ago and have been fascinated with his guitar playing abilities ever since!
Brendan definitely lives up to his name "Fire Fingers" when this young man sets out to play, you would swear fire is coming off of those fingertips!

At 16 years old Brendan has been playing for a few years now and has found his passion in his guitar work.
He is surrounded by many powerful influences in the music world and is constantly taking lessons from George Antoniak and Warren Robert. Brendan has studied with a jazz musician Shan Aresenault and blues with Roger Howse and Joe Murphy.

Brendan was honored to have the late Wade Brown as his mentor! Recently at the Dutch Mason Blues Festival, Brendan was presented with Wade's guitar strap, which means so much to him!

Brendan has played in the band Union 24 and Aztec, he has recorded a couple of demos at Denmark Studios  with Dennis Field, and he is also apprenticing to be a luthier at Gig Street with Floyd McLean,

Brendan has played at Bearly's House of Blues with Brad Conrad, at several local jams such as Montes Showbar, My Son's Place or with his band Red House.

Brendan has played on stage with many great musicians and most recently at the Dutch Mason Blues Festival, he shared the stage with Garrett Mason and Charlie A'Court.
He has also shared the stage with Nova Scotia's great artists such as Sam Moon, The Hupman Brothers and JP Cormier.

Recently I had the opportunity to travel with Brendan to a very exciting gig for him, Brendan was given the honor of sharing the stage with the Maritime's favourite....Matt Minglewood!
Brendan played an entire set with Matt and his band and totally blew the crowd away with his guitar work!

Brendan's music genres range from blues, rock, metal, alternative and jazz, with so much talent in those young fingers, Brendan is definitely a force to be reckoned with in the music industry!

Brendan is managed by his father Mark Gallagher, a seasoned veteran in the music industry!
